HexClad Egg Pan

Not Just for Eggs

You’d think a little pan like this would only be good for frying eggs, right? Wrong. The HexClad Egg Pan might be small, but it’s mighty — perfect for when you want to make something quick without dragging out the big pans.

One of my favourite things to cook in it? Sautéed honey carrots. Just a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, a handful of baby carrots, a pinch of sea salt, black pepper, and a spoon of honey. Let them sizzle gently over medium heat (around 5–6 on the hob) until they’re glossy, tender, and slightly caramelised. The HexClad surface gives them that perfect little char without sticking — it’s just effortless.

It can also be used for quick flatbreads. Mix some plain flour, water, a drop of olive oil, and a pinch of salt — roll it thin, toss it into the hot pan, and watch it puff up beautifully. Flip once, and you’ve got a warm, soft flatbread in minutes.

So yeah — the Egg Pan might have “egg” in the name, but it’s one of those pieces you’ll end up using every day for all sorts of things. Small, fast, and surprisingly versatile.

Just a dad with a pan.
